Experience the magic of Morocco with a journey from Marrakech to the Sahara at Erg Chebbi. Your private 4×4 takes you through the Atlas Mountains to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, then on to Ouarzazate and the Dades Gorge for a relaxing stay. Explore Todra Gorge, then camel trek to a Nomadic Desert Camp in Merzouga. Continue to the desert capital of Zagora for a luxurious stay before returning to Marrakech via Agdz. This tour combines breathtaking landscapes with authentic cultural experiences.
Day 1: Marrakech – Boulmane Dades
Your private 4×4 will pick you up to drive through the spectacular Atlas Mountains, arriving at the UNESCO World Heritage Berber town of Ait Ben Haddou for lunch and to explore the town. Continue on through Ouarzazate to the Dades natural gorge. Here you will stay in a fantastic hotel with a pool to relax after your first day’s drive.
Day 2: Dades – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
Heading on to the stunning canyon of Todra Gorge before arriving at the Merzouga desert. You will meet your camels and trek to our Nomadic Desert Camp to receive a warm Berber welcome and dine under a sky full of stars.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Zagora
After sunrise, camel trek to meet your 4×4 driver to continue the journey, arriving at the desert capital of Zagora. Stay here in a stylish Lodge recommended by us for its setting and excellent service
Day 4: Zagora – Marrakech
Your driver will take you back to Marrakech through the town of Agdz and stopping en route for lunch, arriving in time for dinner at your hotel.
Extend your trip to 6 days by staying overnight at Ait Ben Haddou on the way down and in Ouarzazate on your return journey.
