Nubia Luxury Camp – Erg Chigaga, Morocco
N 29º51′46″ W 6º14′21″
Nubia Luxury Camp sits among the towering dunes of Erg Chigaga (also spelled Chegaga) in Morocco’s remote Sahara. With just six tent suites, each with a private en-suite bathroom, we offer an intimate desert experience far from the crowds of Merzouga. Expect hosted dining under the stars, guided camel treks, and private 4×4 transfers from Marrakech, Ouarzazate or Zagora.
Why Nubia Camp
Unlike larger desert camps, Nubia offers no more than six tents at any time. This means personal attention from our Berber team, flexibility with meal times and activities, and space to enjoy the Sahara without other tour groups. Our camp is run by Mohamed Elhaoissi and his team, who were born in the region and have guided travellers through Erg Chigaga for over 15 years. When you stay with us, you’re not just booking accommodation — you’re joining a small household in the desert.

Want the camp to yourself? Our private camp option gives your group exclusive use of Nubia, with your own chef and guide.
