Dining at Nubia Luxury Camp is part of your stay among the dunes of Erg Chigaga. Breakfast and dinner are included for every guest, with lunch also included when you stay for two nights or more. In the evening, dinner can be served under the stars on the dunes, in the restaurant tent or around the campfire, depending on the weather and arrangements for your stay.
Our chef prepares Moroccan dishes using ingredients bought fresh from nearby villages. Vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements can usually be catered for when arranged in advance. Private dune dining can also be arranged for couples and special occasions.

For stays of two nights or more, lunch is included. A picnic can also be taken to a desert oasis and served beneath the tamarisk trees during a camel trek or 4×4 tour.
Private dining can be arranged for a birthday, anniversary or other celebration. Let us know when you book if you would like the team to arrange a private dinner, Champagne and a cake.
Guests may also bring their own alcohol to Nubia Luxury Camp for the team to chill and serve. Please ask your driver about arrangements on the journey to camp.

Evenings Under the Stars

As the sun begins to set, walk with a guide to the higher dunes for wide views across Erg Chigaga and the surrounding Sahara.
After dinner, the fire is lit in the centre of camp and cushions are laid out for an evening of traditional Berber drumming and singing beneath the stars. With very little artificial light around Erg Chigaga, the night sky is often one of the highlights of a stay.
Guests can also ask the team about sleeping outside under the stars, weather permitting.
