Day 1: Marrakech 

Arrive at Marrakech airport.  You will be taken to your Riad in the heart of the colourful medina, carefully chosen for its location and style; an oasis in the vibrant city.

Day 2: Marrakech 

Enjoy a full day exploring the ancient Medina with a certified guide and doing some shopping in the small souks and craft markets.  Return to your Riad for some time by the pool and to experience a traditional Hammam & Massage before dinner on the terrace under the stars.

Day 3: Marrakech – Dades Gorge

Your 4×4 with driver will pick you up for a wonderful journey into the heart of the Sahara Desert.  Driving through the High Atlas Mountains you will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Berber town of Ait Ben Haddou for lunch.  In the afternoon, head on to the impressive Dades Gorge to spend the night here in a traditional Guest House.

Day 4: Dades – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

The following day you will arrive at a hotel on the edge of the Sahara at Merzouga to relax by the pool until sunset, when your camels will arrive to trek to the Nomadic Desert Camp where you will receive a warm Berber welcome.  Spend the evening by the camp fire under the stars in this magnificent setting.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi – Zagora

Experience the magnificent Saharan sunrise before trekking back to your driver with 4×4 to continue your journey to the desert capital of Zagora, staying in our recommended Desert Lodge hotel with beautiful gardens.

Day 6: Zagora – Marrakech

Your driver will arrive to drive you directly back to Marrakech with plenty of stops for drinks and lunch.

Day 7: Marrakech

Spend your free time in Marrakech before returning to the airport for the journey home.
